Minna Kukkonen - Adviser to President Ahtisaari

Minna Kukkonen serves in the Office of President Ahtisaari as Adviser. She supports President Ahtisaari in his several tasks and engagements especially related to the Aceh peace process, global youth employment and entrepreneurship, as well as promoting Finland with two living national languages.

After joining CMI in 2006 Ms. Kukkonen has held several positions in the organisation, most recently as a manager and adviser in the” Aceh Peace Process Follow-up” and “Gender Based violence and Mediation” -projects. She joined the Office of President Ahtisaari in the end of 2011.

Ms. Kukkonen holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from Uppsala University with specialization in International Public Law. She has also studied EU law at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
