Riikka Marjamäki - Head, President Ahtisaari's Office

Riikka Marjamäki is the Head of the Office of President Ahtisaari, an office inside CMI that supports President Ahtisaari in all his tasks. Mrs Marjamäki heads the programming, planning and co-ordination of President Ahtisaari’s tasks and is in charge of liaison with various organisations where President Ahtisaari is involved.

Mrs Marjamäki joined CMI in 2005 and has had several roles in the organisation. She has been in her current role since 2009.

Riikka holds a Master’s Degree in International Politics from the University of Tampere, Finland. Prior to joining CMI she has worked as a teacher and has work experience from various human rights and women’s rights organisations.
