Mr. Kofi Annan will be the guest speaker at CMI’s 10th Anniversary Seminar in April (14.12.2010)

CMI kicked off its 10^th Anniversary campaign by organizing a stakeholder event at the Bank Event Arena, in Helsinki  on December 3^rd, 2010. The event brought together 200 representatives from different fields of expertise, ranging  from business to politics and international diplomacy.

In the event President Martti Ahtisaari announced that his former colleague and friend Mr. Kofi Annan will be the keynote speaker at  CMI’s 10^th Anniversary Seminar  19 April, 2011. This high level seminar focusing on international peace mediation will also be one of the Ahtisaari-days’ events – a new concept designed by the Finnish Country Brand Delegation.  The final concept of the Ahtisaari-days and the program of the Seminar will be published in January by a committee with representation from CMI and Finnish Foreign Ministry.
