Kristiina Rintakoski joins the Security Advisory Group for the 7th Framework Programme (30.11.2009)

CMI’s Programme Director Kristiina Rintakoski has been invited to join the Security Advisory Group for the 7th Framework Programme.

The 7th Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7) is a European Commission programme to support high quality research. The FP 7 has a number of Advisory Groups that are responsible of giving advice to the Commission on strategy, relevant objectives and technological and scientific research priorities and completing advice received from other sources.

The Security Advisory Group was set up in 2007 and is concentrated on offering advice on the Security Theme of the Cooperation Specific Programme. The membership of the Security Advisory Group is for two years after which it may be reviewed.
